1. Free consultation. Dr. Anand evaluates your smile, discusses your goals, and confirms you are a good candidate.
2. Digital scan & treatment plan. We use a 3D iTero scanner — no messy putty impressions — to map your teeth. You will see a preview of your future smile.
3. Custom aligners. Your series of aligners is manufactured and shipped to our office.
4. Progress check-ins. Every 6-8 weeks, you visit for a quick progress check.
5. Retention. After your treatment ends, you wear a custom retainer to keep your new smile locked in place.

How long does it take?

Most Invisalign cases at our Somerville office complete in 6 to 18 months, depending on complexity. Mild cases can finish in as little as 3-6 months using Invisalign Express. You wear each aligner for about 2 weeks before advancing to the next in the series — and aligners are worn 20-22 hours per day for best results.
